Lois Lapp

Biography

Currently, I am working part-time in the NYM Ministries office. One of my responsibilities is to pack up literature and music materials for the various seminars and workshops that our office facilitates. I also assist in obtaining copyrights for the songs the the CDs that we produce. I enjoy being a part of the life-changing work that God does through the various seminars that are presented through the literature in our office.

I am also a part-time student working on my MA degree in Counselling through Providence Seminary. I find the courses quite challenging and stimulating. The Bible courses have built an excitement in me for studying God's Word more deeply and applying it to my heart and life.

Having lived and interacted with the First Nations people in northwestern Ontario for about 15 years, I enjoy the time I can spend with them. I enjoy traveling and visiting the many friends I have in their communities of in the city.

Prayer

Lord, make me an instrument of Your peace and wholeness. May others become more aware of who You are and what You can do in their life as we interact together. Grant me the serenity to accept my limitations, but to understand more of the power that is available to me through Your death and resurrection life.

Thank You for the opportunities that I have to influence others toward You. Thank You for Your peace and Your presence that are constantly available to me. I pray that many more could know You as their personal Saviour and Lord, and grow in their relationship with You.
