Michelle Landis

Biography

I grew up in southeastern Pennsylvania. I am the oldest of 4 siblings. I worked at a fabric store and a produce stand before coming to NYP. Now I am moving to the role of Student Supervisor here at BCS. I will be monitoring the students' work and scheduling classes (taught by DVD). I love gospel music. I also enjoy reading, working with animals, and joining jam sessions. I enjoyed working with First Nation people during PWTC and look forward to more opportunities to work with them.

Prayer

My prayer is that God will use me to help in the work here at NYP, to be a blessing to others as I have been blessed. That in the role of Student Supervisor at BCS, I will be able to support the parents and strengthen the teaching the children receive at home. I pray that I will be flexible as circumstances and plans change sometimes, and not become frustrated. Also that God will continue to work in me, changing me to be more like Jesus
