Offering Christ's hope to youth and families
for over 50 years, in northern Canada and beyond.

Brent & Annette Schrock

Biography

We both served at NYP as single people. During our time here we felt God leading us together and calling us to work more long term with First Nations youth. There was also vision here at BLCS to expand the family counseling program. We have joined the team to fill the role of Youth Program Manager.

Our role will give us opportunity to sit one on one with youth and kids that are part of the counselling program with their families. Also, we will have opportunity to do group teaching and activities both here at the counselling center as well as in First Nations communities.

In our years here as single people we became friends with many local young people here in Dryden. We hope to be available to continue and grow those mentoring relationships.

Prayer

We pray that we can be used of God to bring his Kingdom to bear in the hearts and lives of First Nations young people and their families. We pray for understanding, grace, and love to share the message of the cross and healing through Christ in a cross cultural context.

We pray that through the Holy Spirit we can live a consistent life in relationship with our Saviour. That we would indeed be worth of the calling we have received. Ephesians 4:1-6
